Candle Light Ambience

A candle flame is burning.

A flame flickers penetrating the darkness that surrounds it.

The candle’s flame may be small but its white light may keep a person from stumbling in the dark.

An analogy could be made. People are like candles. Our light may keep another person from stumbling around in the confusing darkness.

God gives light. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who believes in me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”

The warmth of softened feelings steals over me in the quietness of an evening: the candle light, favorite music and gentle thoughts … bring joy.

A candle flame is burning.

Peace at the Center Found in God (1)

What is it to have Peace at the Center?

To have Peace at the Center is to have Christ at the Center. This means you will let go of other things that try to be at the center.

When a person is centered in Christ, there will be peace. It requires opening up to His presence and resting in His presence.

It helps to remove what is not peaceful from our lives: emotional injuries, hurts, put-downs, unjust treatment, lack of care from others … to seek God.

Peace at the Center is knowing God in relationship in such a way that one lives from your inside place of peace even when life is stress-filled.

Peace at the Center is to be centered in peace.
