Spring is emerging in California.
New life is seen in the fragrant blossoms on trees. Every week another bloom emerges. Their colors dot the landscape and grace us with their presence.
Spring’s awakening encourages our souls. It tells us that new beginnings are a part of life. We can count on it.
Everything needs rest. Even the plant life. When the rest is over, a joyful time of emerging newness refreshes the land. We call this rejuvenation.
People go through cycles much like the seasons: Times of winter..waiting; times of spring..new life; times of summer..growth; times of fall..producing.
We can’t have an autumn without a spring. Everything has its time and its season. To interrupt this rotation would cause chaos and devastation.
The blessed Lord gives us the seasons. He teaches us through them, that each has its purpose. Spring speaks of a new day, hope restored, life.
