HONOR
We honor those who have gone before us.
We honor those who contributed something worthy to be remembered, to the better good. Their lives, unselfish, true, and good.
Some people conduct their business with honor. They live lives of integrity. They are truthful, honest, helpful, kind, and constructive. A person of honor will choose to do the right thing even when it costs. Honor adds value to a name. Character speaks loudly.

LABOR DAY & THE AMERICAN WORKER
Labor Day is a celebration of the American Worker.
America is grateful for its workers’ successes, contributions, and hard work.
Growing up as a kid in the 60s and 70s, Labor Day always meant that summer vacation was coming to a close. The day after Labor Day was when the school year would begin. I didn’t understand the significance of Labor Day.
It is my understanding that the first Labor Day came after a period of violence in which 30 laborers, on strike, were killed. It was in the late 1800s. Tragic and sad.
