AWAY WE FLY with 2020. What say ye?
Loving well is where the year starts and where it ends.
Start the year with love. This year will be unique, as every year is. But I wonder what this year will bring to me, my family, our nation, and the world. I am expecting a few surprises along the way–some noteworthy, some good, some bad, some neither here nor there.
Whatever is ahead, I know this year’s events will teach new truths. One quality about life that we must not disregard is this–there is always more to know and challenges to be undertaken. Embrace them all.
I get tied to outcomes. Yet life is much more than outcomes. The way in which we live our life is more than its outcomes. How we live it will count to the better good, or not. Will I live this year well? I intend to. How about you?
For me, my yearly goal is quite simple. My motto is three-fold: Love God. Love others. Love my neighbor. If I can love well and to be love to others, even those I don’t like very much, then I am a victor. Love is the goal. Love is the solution. Truly, it is all about love.
Love comes from within. Love is nourished through thought, word, and action. Love is not silent. Love speaks in the beauty, in the kindness, in the friendship, in the helpfulness, and in the commitment.
Love is love: nothing more and nothing less.
