God is not done . . . until He is done.
A friend was bemoaning the state of our country. And I get that. I am grieving for my country. But is all lost? I think not. God is not done . . . until He is done. He is mighty to save, and save He will. We all know those who are still playing their own tune separate from the Savior’s tune. Oh, how they need Him. Let’s take a bird’s eye view of the situation as it stands now.
. . .
Corruption, defilement, ungodliness, oh no!
Praying for the hearts of our people. They have believed a false narrative. They are blinded by humanism. They have turned away. They no longer see God as good. They think they know a better way. They do what is right in their own eyes and excuse the corruption of the day. They refuse to see the moral degeneracy that is imploding our country, which brings more death and destruction to them and the people around them.
However, we are followers of Christ. We will always be salt and light as long as we follow God and are Christ to the world.
The hope within us, aw, the hope of glory.
We Christ followers are different. We have a high calling. We have the tools of prayer and fasting. We have the living Lord who will not stop loving and redeeming. There are people being saved. There are many coming to faith. There are people of all nations coming to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
All is not lost. There are Christians repenting and re-energizing. There are Christians rising up and speaking truth. There are churches re-tooling what they offer. The Church is being sifted.
God is at work. I love how He is teaching me and many others. I am thankful that we never stand alone. He is always with us. I believe our prayers are making a difference. I praise God for this reality. We are in a battle. However the battle goes, we are called to be faithful and faith-filled. We are called to be genuine.
God is calling many sons and daughters to glory. He sees people’s emptiness, their depravity, their sins, and their hopelessness. God uses His followers to shed His light, sing His praises, and enjoy His goodness. How can they hear without a preacher? He uses us to be light in a darkened world. No one can take this from us.
Our hope is not of this world. How I praise God for this. Truly, our sustenance is not found in this world. God is our everything. He is our food. He is mighty to save. God is our hope.
Take heart, we are on the Lord’s side.
My dear friend, God made us for such a time as this. No matter what society says about us, no matter how hard they try to shut us down, no matter what happens, they simply cannot remove what we have on our side. Praise be to God, the FATHER OF LIGHTS, in Whom there is no variance or turning.
Do not be discouraged. Be strong in the Lord. God makes a way through the desert, through the Red Sea, and through the dark night. God is able.
Praises! Glory be to God! Hallelujah! Amen.
